We are back with a new art exhibition at 2016main this coming first Friday, September 1st starting from 5 pm to 10 pm.
Alys Paola will present “I picked a cherry on an olive tree”
Alys Paola’ pictures are a patchwork of her dreams and memories, work and life. she questions identity and attainable goals, adaptability and resilience are key to pushing forward, in spite of the natural fear of the unknown or worse yet, the void.
Blurring the lines between dreams, reality, space and time, Alys Paola’ abstract collages provide a playground for her doubts and existential questions.

This exhibition is also a reference to contemporary cinema. It is where the overly saturated universe of Wes Anderson meets the unsettling ambiance of Hitchcock’s Rear Window.

Alys Paola is a French visual artist who grew up in France, Belgium and the United States. She is currently based in Los Angeles. An interior Designer and Architect, she uses Photoshop or mixed media like pens, watercolor and photoshop. Every artwork will be for sale. We will also have a martini cocktails bar 🍸 by Sidecar KC and an oyster bar 🦪 from Westport cafe

Artwork from @zombietears, @maximesiau and @marktennantart will also be displayed.
